    Brinkmann Constructors is hiring an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter. This position will own the recruitment process for our offices in St. Louis, Kansas City and Denver.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a full life cycle approach to recruiting in highly competitive market
    • Think outside the box to proactively search for and engage top talent for open positions and “opportunity hires”
    • Build a passive talent pipeline using a high touch approach via multi-channel lead generation including cold calling, networking, Internet mining, social media, colleges, industry association meetings, employee referrals, boomerang employees, etc.
    • Collaborate with HR partners and hiring managers to identify need, develop recruitment plan and implement innovative strategies to quickly fill open positions with top talent in a cost-effective manner
    • Keep candidates, HR partners and hiring managers informed of all recruiting activity
    • Guide candidates and hiring managers through recruitment process, extending offers and across the finish line to candidate’s start date
    • Compile data on industry trends, market analysis and other competitive intelligence to win top talent
    • Responsible for tracking and reporting recruiting metrics
    • Manage vendor relationships including selection, negotiation of terms and management of contracts
    • Support campus recruitment program
    • Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws
    • Support HR initiatives and special projects as needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field
    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Recruiter, construction experience preferred, previous experience in agency recruitment/research role ideal
    • Strong computer and internet skills including familiarity with applicant tracking systems and LinkedIn Recruiter
    • May require travel to offices, to attend networking events and to campus recruitment activities
    • Must have “hunter” mindset with self-motivated, proactive attitude
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to cultivate and build meaningful relationships
    • Ability to persuade or influence others
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills
